What do I need to run Mango?
An Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later. The Mac App Store release is currently in preparation. Mango reads PDF, Markdown and plain-text documents; scanned PDFs need a text layer.
How do I open files and choose languages?
Use Open File (⌘O) or Add Folder (⇧⌘O) to select local content. Choose the interface language in Settings → General and translation languages in Settings → Translation. Interface language changes do not change your translation target.
Why is System Translation unavailable?
Check the language pair and installed language resources in the system translation settings. Follow the system’s resource-download prompts when needed. Support depends on macOS and language availability. The high-quality preference may fall back; it does not guarantee Apple Intelligence or a particular translation model.
How do custom model services work?
Add a connection in Services. Enter the API root (for example, https://example.com/v1), API key and model. Remote services require HTTPS; HTTP is supported only for loopback addresses. Model-list discovery is optional: you can enter the model manually. Test Connection sends only a fixed sentence, not the document you are reading.
Why do I need to select a file again?
macOS limits access to files outside the app’s sandbox. If access is no longer valid, select the file or folder again using Mango’s Open File or Add Folder controls. Removing a reading-list entry does not delete its original file.
How can I remove cached data or revoke permission?
Use Clear Cache in the translation inspector to remove local translation and terminology results. Delete an unwanted service to remove its connection and saved key. Settings → Privacy lets you reset document-sharing permissions. This cannot recall data already sent to a provider; contact that provider for deletion requests.
What should I include in a bug report?
Email the Mango version, macOS version, steps to reproduce the issue and any error message. A small, non-private example can help. Remove sensitive text and credentials from screenshots. We do not need your API key.

系统翻译不可用怎么办？
检查所选语言对及系统翻译资源状态，按系统提示下载所需语言资源。可用性取决于系统和语言支持。“优先高质量”可能回退，不保证使用 Apple Intelligence 或某个特定模型。
怎样配置自定义模型服务？
在“翻译服务”中添加连接，填写 API 根地址（例如 https://example.com/v1）、API Key 和模型。远程地址要求 HTTPS；HTTP 仅支持回环地址。获取模型列表是可选功能，失败时仍可手填模型。“测试连接”只发送固定短句，不读取当前文档。
为什么需要重新选择文件？
macOS 沙盒限制应用访问外部文件。授权失效时，请通过 Mango 的“打开文件”或“添加文件夹”重新选择。从阅读列表移除记录不会删除原文件。
如何清理数据或撤销授权？
通过翻译侧栏的“清空缓存”删除本机译文和术语结果；删除服务可移除连接及其保存的密钥。“设置 → 隐私”可重置文档发送授权，但不能撤回服务商已收到的数据。外部数据删除需联系对应服务商。
反馈问题时需要提供什么？
请提供 Mango 版本、macOS 版本、复现步骤和错误提示，可以附上不含私人内容的小样本。截图前请移除敏感文本和凭据，我们不需要你的 API Key。
